Foster Care Alumni of America - Virginia Chapter

The mission of FCAA is to connect the alumni community and to transform foster care policy and practice, ensuring opportunity for people in and from foster care.

Vision Statement: FCAA- Virginia Chapter envisions being the leader in Virginia in connecting the alumni community so that our voices can be heard. We envision alumni and allies working together to help truly transform Virginia’s Child Welfare System to ensure a high quality of life for those in and from foster care.

 Who can be a member of the VA Chapter

•If you ever lived in foster care, including living with relatives, guardians, group homes or residential placements, or adopted you can join FCAA- VA Chapter.

•If you did not experience foster care but believe in our mission, you can join FCAA- VA Chapter.

•If you are a social worker, foster, adoptive or kinship parent, a mentor, CASA, child advocate or work with children and families you can join.

•If you do not work with children but care about the work we do and the future of our children you can join FCAA- VA Chapter.

•In other words, we welcome you to become a member of FCAA-VA Chapter. We need your voice to make a difference…. Join Today!!!!
