• All of Our Speakers are Pre-Screened:  You have access to a broad talent pool of foster care alumni who are skillful at delivering compelling presentations on a wide variety of subjects. No surprises.
• We Coach the Presenters:  Each speaking engagement is full of nuance and requires sensitivity to make sure that the speaker is not only a good fit,  but is well-prepared to meet your goals and objectives.  Since we only accept speaking engagements where there is no question that FCAA embraces your goals, we are committed to making sure the speaker has the best tools to meet your goals. Our speaker coaches have more than 25 years as graduate level trainers in public speaking and more than 20 years experience in all aspects of child welfare.
• Fees are Simple and Pre-Arranged:  You want simple numbers to plug into your budget.  FCAA has developed a fee schedule available upon request.  Our fees cover meeting preparation, speaker honorarium, and coordination of speaker, travel logistics.  Fee are pre-determined based on the nature of the presentation and reflect market values.  Travel expense is simplified and can be scheduled with a maximum cap.
• Success is Guaranteed:  If for any reason an Alumni Speaker does not meet your expectation, your speaking fee will be returned.  But worry-not you will need our guarantee.  All over the country, time and time again, planners like you are hearing that our alumni were the best presenters, the best trainers, and the best panelists at conferences and meetings large and small.  If you have seen our alumni present, you already know this to be true.
• It's the Right Thing to Do:  Alumni have an expertise that is hard-earned through life experiences. When we share our stories, we are bringing a perspective that can only be gained by living in foster care.  By engaging FCAA's Speakers Bureau, you are supporting alumni expertise as a valuable resource worth sustaining.  Your fees cover the development of the presentation and time and effort away from work, family and home.  Our alumni speakers receive a financial honorarium for their work.  We believe, and we know you agree, that our investment is worthy of reasonable compensation.
