Get Involved to Connect Today...Transform Tomorrow

Our members are the heartbeat of our organization.  It is only through member involvement that we will Connect Today...Transform Tomorrow.  During the last year, more than 400 FCAA members have been involved as volunteers through our chapters, by facilitating workshops and trainings, by talking with the media about FCAA and the alumni movement, through internships at our office, volunteering at a conference exhibit, serving on committees--the list is endless! 

Joining FCAA is the first step.  When you join, you add to the credibility of our organization.  As our membership grows, so does our ability to influence foster care practice and policy.  As our membership gets larger, so does our effectiveness as an extended-family community.

We also have many member opportunities.  These are constantly changing and include chances to participate in surveys, speak with the media, represent FCAA at conferences and events, make your voice heard with policy makers, and opportunities to join the staff or board of FCAA or our member organizations.

FCAA Chapters are being developed around the country.  We currently have chapters in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, and Texas, with more chapters being established this spring.  If you would like to participate in an existing chapter or start a new one, visit the chapter pages.
